“We are going to be having a centennial celebration after the closing general session. Our keynote speaker this year is going to be the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue. He’ll be speaking Monday at our closing general session. So, we’re excited to have him as well.”

Farmers and ranchers will learn about the latest products and practices at the IDEAg Trade show. Bidelman says the convention also boasts a diverse workshop program.

“There’s going to be a drone track presented by AUVSI. They’re going to go through everything from what kind of equipment you should purchase to what to do with all the data that you collect. We’re also going to have some commodity outlooks with AFBF’s Market Intel team. And we will also have leadership development, a session on industrial hemp. It’s going to be a really great workshop program.”

And new to the event this year is the Farm Dog of the Year award.  To learn more about the event visit the Farm Bureau's Website.
