We're getting ready for the USDA's 2019 Agricultural Outlook Forum, coming up next month.

"Growing locally, selling globally. And growing locally is a play on words meant to encompass any number of things, including rural development as well as production, and then selling it abroad."

World Agricultural Outlook Board Chair Seth Meyer says in addition to the traditional Thursday kickoff with Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue's keynote address, and USDA Chief Economist Rob Johannson providing the Ag economic outlook for the New Year.

"We've got an innovation panel on Thursday morning, that's going to include a couple of CEOs from some really innovative technology companies.  Governor Ricketts will be there from Nebraska, State Departments of Agriculture that will come in and talk about the benefits of this technology."

The Outlook Forum is February 21st and 22nd in Arlington, Virginia.  To learn more or register, visit the USDA’s Website.
