KRD: Prorationing Underway

Prorationing  in the Kittitas Reclamation District is underway.  The current proration rate is at 75% based on the May 1, 2019 Total Water Supply Available estimate for the Yakima Basin.

The TWSA estimate will be updated on Thursday.

The Bureau of Reclamation is requiring that the KRD provide 48 hours advance notice of any requested diversion changes.  As of Monday the KRD allotment for the 2019 year remains at two Cubic Feet Per Second per acre...the same amount set back in April.
