Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Disaster Relief Fund has received over $3 million in donations and paid out $1 million to help farmers impacted by historic flooding.  Farm Bureau Foundation Executive Director Megahan Schafer said they received donations from all 50 states, Australia, Europe and around the world.

“It has exceeded, I think, any of our expectations.  We’ve given away about $1 of that, so we still have a healthy pool.  We are accepting our second round distribution applications for that through June 21st.  So we encourage both new and repeat applications for this second round of distribution.”
