Oil prices continue to hold steady, hovering just above the $55 a barrel mark.  Keeping those oil prices in check is the ongoing trade war with China, and the possibility of a U.S or even global recession.  However, some financial experts are saying oil prices could moving higher in the not too distant future, thanks ongoing tension with Iran, and the possibility of the Trump Administration offering a stimulus package to help the American consumer.

Diesel prices continued their downward movement over the past couple of weeks.  The national average for a gallon of diesel fell two cents in the past week to $2.94, Washington’s average dipped one cent to $3.25, while Oregon’s average dropped three cents down to $3.13 a gallon.

As far as local diesel prices are concerned:

  • $2.96 a gallon in the Tri-Cities
  • $3.05 a gallon in Wenatchee
  • $3.33 a gallon in Ephrata
  • $3.09 a gallon in Moses Lake
  • $2.89 a gallon in Pendleton
  • $3.27 a gallon in Walla Walla
  • $2.99 a gallon in Yakima
