The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed last week the removal of a Ferry County wolf pack.  WDFW confirmed that the four known remaining members of the OPT wolf pack were shot and killed.  A series of WDFW investigations showed that pack was responsible for 29 depredation incidents in the past year.  The last confirmed depredation occurred August 5th

Meanwhile, despite authorization from Director Kelly Susewind, WFDW has not removed any of the wolves from the Togo pack.  On August 9th, Susewind OKed the killing of the two remaining wolves in that pack, in response to repeated depredations in the Kettle River Range.
