Riots and demonstrations in Chile this week have caused Chilean official to cancel Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit meetings that were scheduled for last this month.  It was at that meeting President Trump said he planned to meet with his Chinese counterpart to perhaps finalize the Phase One trade agreement with China.

Will this impact the trade agreement process between the U.S. and China?

"I do know that those discussions between the United States and China have been continuing this week to try to finalize that 'phase one' agreement," said the USDA's, Stephen Censky.  "And so, you know, everything is still all systems go to keep working to finalize that 'phase one' trade agreement as quickly as possible. But I think that goal of having it finalized by mid November still remains."
