According to NASS, potato stocks in the Northwest topped out at 171.4 million cwt earlier this month.  As of December 1st, potato stocks in Washington totaled 58.5 million cwt.  In Oregon, potato stocks totaled 17.9 million cwt, and Idaho came in at 95 million.  As far as disappearance is concerned, Washington reported 43 million cwt, Oregon hit 4.78 million cwt, and disappearance in Idaho totaled 95 million cwt.

 

Nationally, the 13 major potato states held 267 million cwt of potatoes in storage December 1st, down 4% year-over-year.
