Trade agreements between Japan, China, and the USMCA are all done.  According to Gregg Doud, Chief Agricultural Negotiator of the US Trade Representative’s Office, those deals were done at a pace he referenced to as "historic".

“Since I've been there in 22 months we've renegotiated 51% of U.S. Ag exports,” Doud recently noted.

When it comes to renegotiation of NAFTA, now known as USMCA.

“In a period that almost killed the building,” Dou said.  “We were literally sleeping on our couches in our offices at night as we negotiated this. We did a Japan deal in six weeks that should have taken 16 months.”

And a significant amount of work regarding a deal with China.  Doud said the experience gained in negotiating these trade agreements at an accelerated pace will be important as the U.S. works to secure additional trade deals in the near future with global markets such as India.
