If you look at December prices for commodities and factor in volumes of sales of those various farm products, you’ll get an average December price received index up 0.8 % from November.  While that sounds good, the price received index in December was down that same 0.8 % year-over year.  Gary Crawford has the latest numbers from the USDA.
