Technology is everywhere in agriculture, changing and transforming at a breakneck pace. To help local growers RDO is hosting their Ag Management Solutions Clinic Thursday in Coulee City. RDO’s Erin Hightower said their goal is to help producers understand and unlock all of the possibilities that exist in the latest farm equipment.

She added when the clinic starts at 9 a.m., they’ll focus on helping farmers determine exactly what they want to accomplish.

“Are you looking for reporting? Are you looking for tractor driving assistance?  Or are you looking to go all in and be doing a lot of consistent management decision making with your equipment?  We’re going to go through all of that.”

As the day continues, Hightower said they will talk about technology application. This means establishing boundaries, naming the fields and a variety of other steps to help you use your time to its fullest.

“And then we’ll be talking about advanced usage of technology.  So, taking that tractor technology and cutting down the time you’re spending in reporting cutting down the time you’re spending making decisions in your field and working on that precision agricultural management system.”

Thursday’s AMS clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
