June 1st, that the date the Trump Administration has targeted for USMCA implementation; now that the Canadian Parliament has ratified the updated NAFTA. Canadian approval was the final step taken among the three-member nations to ratify the new trade agreement.

And, its full implementation is one anxiously awaited by much of the U.S. Agriculture sector, and its supporters.

"The Canadian market opens up for some dairy products and other poultry and egg products," Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue recently noted.

The USDA's Ted McKinney added the nation also looks forward to new and updated policies that should expand Ag trade opportunities with our North American neighbor.

"Brand new, never seen before, language on the biosciences, the bio-technologies the sanitary/Fito-sanitary chapters."
