With much of the country under a stay at home order, many Americans are not going to work. But, the folks who produce and distribute our food are on the job, and getting thanks for their efforts.

"Thank you for doing a great job, for keeping food on the table for the American people."

Vice President Mike Pence recently at a Wal-Mart distribution center in Virginia, telling workers there and across the country,

"We are grateful for our farmers who are working around the clock to keep the food supply rolling," the Vice President said. "We're grateful to our grocery store operators, where it's the truck drivers, whether it's the people working here in the distribution center. Thank you all very much."

Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue toured the Wal-Mart facility with Vice President Pence as well.

"For all you producers on the front line out there, again farmers and ranchers, thank you. Keep doing what you're doing, and America is grateful and so am I."
