U.S. exports of livestock products, such as milk, meat, and poultry remain very strong, and could end this fiscal year well ahead of 2019. This from USDA’s new Outlook. USDA’s Chief economist, , Rob Johansson, said unlike some of the bulks crop items, analysts have not really had to reduce their export forecasts for meat, milk and poultry.

"We still expect to export about $32.4 billion of those," which he noted would be $2 billion more than in 2019.

"You do see continuing strong demands for pork in particular due to African swine fever issues still in Asia," Johansson noted.

USDA also raised its previous pork forecast by a couple of hundred million dollars up to $6.9 billion. We’re looking at beef exports at $7.2 million, poultry at $5.5 million, dairy $6.2 million worth of exports.
