More and more Washington fairs are canceling their 2020 events because of the coronavirus.

The Spokane Interstate Fair, the NE Washington Fair in Colville, the North Central Washington Fair in Waterville announced Wednesday all events have been canceled for this year. But on-line, or virtual fairs, may be implemented as replacements.

And Thursday morning, the Benton-Franklin Fair and Rodeo announced the cancellation of their late August event.

CORRECTION: On Thursday, we reported the Okanogan County Fair had been canceled.  That is incorrect.  The September 10-13 is still taking place.  We apologize for the incorrect information.

They all join a long list of fairs across the Evergreen state that have called off their 2020 events, including the Grant County Fair in Moses Lake, the Cle Elum Roundup, the Omak Stampede, the Toppenish Rodeo, the Asotin County Fair and Rodeo, the Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo in Davenport, the Jefferson County Fair, Southwest Washington Fair in Chehalis, Thurston Co. Fair, the West Valley Fair in Yakima County, the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, the Clark County Fair in Ridgefield (north of Vancouver), the NW Washington Fair and Rodeo in Lynden have all canceled events scheduled for later this year.
