Gary Crawford says there is better news to report for food shoppers. He says it appears grocery store food price inflation is cooling down, at least compared to the 2.7% hike reported in April, the largest monthly increase in 46 years.




USDA is currently forecasting food at home prices for the year to average 2%-3% higher than last year, but a new forecast is due out June 25th.
