Grocery Price Increases Moderate In May

Gary Crawford says there is better news to report for food shoppers. He says it appears grocery store food price inflation is cooling down, at least compared to the 2.7% hike reported in April, the largest monthly increase in 46 years.

USDA is currently forecasting food at home prices for the year to average 2%-3% higher than last year, but a new forecast is due out June 25^th.
