Deadline for Farmer Assistance Programs Fast Approaching

Producers, if you are eligible to enroll in either of the Farm Bill farm safety net crop programs, Agricultural Risk coverage, or price loss coverage and you have not yet done so for 2020, don't wait.

The sign-up deadline is June 30th.

"The 2020 sign up is just a continuation of those decisions that were made in the 19 sign up, that carry on in to the 2020 crop year," said FSA Administrator Richard Fordyce.

That means producers need to contact their local FSA office and sign their ARC or PLC enrollment contract for 2020. Fordyce said to date over 1.4 million producers have signed ARC or PLC contracts, representing 89% of expected enrollment.
