To make the application process easier, the FSA is encouraging farmers to apply for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program on-line.

"We also have some new tools that we're able to work with producers through a digital environmental," said FSA Administrator Richard Fordyce. "We're able to send applications to producers. Also there's an opportunity there to digitally sign that application, and as soon as you digitally sign that application it goes back to the county office for processing."

"We also have the application available on our Website and a payment calculator also that farmers ad ranchers can use to populate their application," Fordyce continued. "They can mail that in, they can scan it and email it in. And then in some cases we've got county offices that have drop boxes there on site where they can just drive in, put it in the drop box."
