For a farmer keeping equipment, trucks and implements moving and working properly is one of the most important jobs on the farm.

Coleman Oil’s Chuck Vannoy said with dozens of facilities and card lock locations across all four Northwest states, they not only understand the needs of the farm community, but how needs vary region to region. When it comes to providing the lubes and greases, Vannoy says carrying Chevron products allows Coleman Oil to have anything a farmer would want.

“We have some of the older base oils, and of course the newer synthetics, and we even offer for some of the more sophisticated operations like a hay press, we have an Isoclean facility based in Moses Lake that takes all of the particulates out of the oil so that it’s the optimum cleanliness for some of those very expensive pieces of machinery that require that.”

Vannoy says it’s not just about the products, but service as well.

“We do oil analysis for farmers too to make sure that they’re getting the optimum amount of their product and they’re doing the right change intervals, so they’re not changing their oil too soon or too late.  And that’s a service we provide free of charge.  So, with Chevron, agriculture, of course being a west coast company is a big part of who we are and who we represent.  So we take that very seriously.”
