Last week, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife killed the two known remaining members of the Wedge wolf pack. The Department confirmed the killing of the adult male and adult female Thursday. WDFW said the former Stevens County pack was responsible for 16 depredations, with the last one coming August 1st.

WDFW added it will provide a final report on this and any other lethal removal operations during 2020 in the Washington Gray Wolf Conservation and Management 2020 Annual Report, which will be published this spring.
