Farming is not a nine to five job. And to help producers work around their sometimes hectic scheduled, USDA has rolled out near features on-line allowing for business to be conducted around the clock.

"We've changed the look and feel of the conservation client gate in a way that is more intuitive, more comfortable to the user experience, as they begin to look at their farm, their needs, and work through their request for assistance or any contracting any activity they had with us," said Kevin Norton, NRCS' Acting Chief.

Norton added information can be accessed or submitted via a large range of electronic devices.

"Can you imagine that, that we now have the tool that from the cab of their tractor, their pickup truck, they'll be able to engage directly with the Natural Resources Conservation Service."

Visit the USDA's Website to check out those changes.
