The Northwest potato crop was valued at $2.21 billion last year. According to NASS, the final value of Idaho's 2019 potato crop was $1.04 billion, a 2% year over year increase. The marketing year average price for potatoes in Idaho was $7.98 per cwt, up $0.73 from last year. Potato production in totaled 131 million cwt in 2019, a drop of 8%.

In Oregon, the 2019 potato crop was valued at $234 million, up 16% from 2018 figures. The potato price was $9.24 per cwt, up $1.77 from last year. In Oregon, production was 25.3 million cwt, down 6 percent from 2018.

Washington's 2019 potato crop was valued at $934 million, up 19% from 2018. The marketing year average price for fall potatoes was $8.90 per cwt, up $1.08 from the previous year. Production in Washington was 105 million cwt, up 4% from 2018.

The combined production for the three states was 62% of U.S. potato production in 2019.
