When taking a look at U.S. Ag trade numbers, the most recent data takes a look at the October 2019 through August of this year. So, where does the American farm industry sit after 11 months?

"Agricultural exports are $123.7 billion dollars compared to $125.3 billion from last year. Those numbers are off roughly 1% from this time last year."

Economist Mark Kenner said the USDA has been forecasting Ag exports for the 2020 fiscal year at $35 billion dollars. To hit that target, Ag and timber exports will need to climb $11.3 billion.
