According to FSA Administrator Richard Fordyce, interest in the second round of Coronavirus Food Assistance Program has been strong.

"As of October 22nd, We've approved over 443,000 applications and we've approved for payment a little of $7.6 billion dollars for the CFAP2 program in payments."

Fordyce added that the original CFAP and CFAP2 are two unique programs, meaning producers who received funding in the first round need to submit another application for CFAP2.

"There's a number of resources that folks can utilize at the USDA's CFAP Website. There's FAQs there, there's also an application. You know the producers may want to look at to kind of familiarize themselves with the application and maybe what information is needed."

The CFAP 2 application deadline is December 11th.
