"Coronavirus has had a big impact on agriculture producers across the country and CFAP2 was developed really to be able to help producers get through a year like this and cover some of the extra costs. We made CFAP2 as simple and straight forward as we can. So sign-up should be fairly easy for most producers. And the deadline of December 11th is coming right up and we wanted to make sure that producers get signed up before December 11."

USDA Undersecretary, Bill Northey said over 700,000 applications, and have paid out a little more than $11 billion. He added CFAP2's payout could go as high as $14 billion dollars.

"Nearly every agriculture producer would probably be able to qualify for CFAP2 so we encourage them all to reach out to their FSA office."
