Oil prices continue their slow march higher, as confidence surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine continues to grow. In Monday’s trade, West Texas Crude was trading well into the $53 per barrel range, some of the highest prices we’ve seen in the last two months. In fact the last time oil prices were this high, February 17th, 2020.

What has that done for diesel prices?

The national average for a gallon of diesel increased two cents to $2.65, while Idaho’s price jumped four cents to $2.72, Oregon’s diesel price increased two cents to $2.76, while Washington’s rate held steady at $2.85.
