With tulips blooming next month in Washington’s Skagit County crowds are preparing to return to the Tulip Festival. Last year’s event was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but crews look to welcome tourist back to the area this year, but with some restrictions.

Both fields, Tulip Town and Roozengaarde, will require advanced ticket purchases that will limit the visitor’s stay to a specific window of time in an effort to keep crowd sizes down to allow better social distancing.

Tickets will be available for either three-hour windows in the morning and midday hours, or two-hour windows in the afternoon and evening. The fields open April 1st, 8 a.m., and will remain open dairy throughout the month.
