Hop Stocks Up 3% Year Over Year
According to NASS, the inventory of hops held by growers, dealers, and brewers on March 1st, 2021 totaled 185 million pounds, up 3% from March 1st of last year. Stocks held at dealer and grower locations on March 1, 2021 totaled 150 million pounds. Stocks held by brewers totaled 35 million pounds.
March Hop Stocks have been on a steady increase since 2015, and have more than doubled in the past 19 years.
