Back in January President Biden signed an Executive Order on how the federal government planned to address climate change concerns. The Agriculture Department's role include the recent notice in the Federal Register related to climate-smart agriculture and forestry practices and systems. 

"Soliciting input from agriculture, and forestry, and conservation, and other stakeholders. We're also gonna host a series of webinars to allow a bit more interaction," noted USDA Deputy Chief of Staff Robert Bonnie. "The civilian climate core, interest in the White House and looking for ways to involve young people in all types of activities around conservation and climate."

As well as the goal of conserving 30% of US lands by the year 2030 through collaborative, incentive-based, locally-led conservation efforts.
