John Deere is offering an all-new lineup of Hagie Self-Propelled Sprayers for model year 2022. Available for ordering in June, the new lineup features integrated technology, a new tank size and new comfort features in the cab. Joel Basinger of John Deere said the new lineup is a redesign from the ground up.

“We've got all the Hagie innovation our customers have grown to know aligned with a lot of the John Deere technology and our John Deere dealer network. We've got three new models the STS 12, STS 16 and STS 20, ranging from 1200 gallons, 1600 gallons up to 2000 gallons. Just a lot of exciting options for our customers, going forward, really it's a ground up redesign of the Hagie sprayer.”

The new lineup offers three tank sizes and several boom options to fit your operation.

“The 1200 gallon STS, 12, and the 1600 gallon STS 16 are models we've had," Basinge noted. "The new STS 20 is the 2000 gallon option. Each one of those is available with multiple different boom options, our hybrid Hagie boom, 90, 100, 120, or 132 foot.”

While the all-new 2,000 gallon tank brings more weight, Basinger said farmers don’t need to be worried about running this sprayer in damp conditions.

"That's one of the really exciting things about Hagie is we've been able to, through the innovation that we've all known with Hagie, maintain that right at 50-50 white balance from full all the way through empty, and really, that 2000 gallon option, depending on what tire size you look at, competes with a lot of the 1600 gallon machines, when you look at the overall weight of the system.”

The Hagie STS S payers offer forward-facing innovation, allowing farmers to keep a closer eye on their application.

“Forward facing innovation is one of the key items that Hagie really focuses on. That starts out with that front boom, where customers can keep an eye on what's going on with the nozzles, they can see what they're applying, when they're applying and really be able to keep a lookout for those obstacles.”

The new Hagie STS Sprayers also include integrated John Deere technology options.

“Each one is going to come with a gen-four CommandCenter display, where they can run their AutoTrac, their documentation, data sync, things like that. Each when it comes to the integrated Starfire receiver for their GPS needs. They also come with JD Link, our connected system so we can wirelessly transfer that data and access to our operation center. You can also add other features like mobile weather where they can document what's going on while they're spraying and have that for record keeping. But then there's additional AutoTrac like AutoTrac RowSense, AutoTrac Vision, to allow them to spend more time focusing on their application and less time worrying about driving that machine.”

And when it comes time to head to the field, farmers know the cab of the spayer quickly becomes their office. Basinger says the new Hagie STS Sprayers offer several comfort features to keep you working day in and day out

"If you look at these cabs, it's a nicer office than what I've got at home. You've got all kinds of options there, a lot like some of your newer higher end pickup trucks that you can get. You've got the command arm control, that's hydro handle, similar to what you'd see in a John Deere sprayer. You've got LED lighting, you can option to a leather seat with massage, heated seat, hands free entry even, refrigerator, app radio, so anything you might need at home, sitting in your office, you can find in these cabs.”

To learn more, Basinger said you can visit your local John Deere dealer, or check out John Deere's Website Web or Hagie's Website.
