Bryan Henninger said not only is the tournament a great way for the farming community to spend a few hours together playing golf, but all of the funds raised go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest in Spokane. In seven years, the Ag World Golf Classic as has raised over $520,000 for RMHC, which provides a home away from home for families of children receiving medical treatment. Henninger said that dollar amount demonstrates the big heart of the local Ag community.

“You know, we’re not tooting our own horns but we’re there to provide support and lift these kids and their families up in these extremely trying times, whether it be cancer, heart surgery whatever the kids are going through, where the families can actually stay close to their kids right across the street from the hospital.”

Henniger noted 50% of the families that use the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane come from the Columbia Basin.
