With temperatures warming up across the region, six irrigation field days will take place across Central Oregon. Each will start at 9 a.m. and run through most of the day. According to Oregon State Extension officials, the main focus will be the virtues of converting to LESA/LEPA/MDI system pivots and linears, along with other irrigation technologies, to help increase water use efficiency, and reduce water use and power cost.

The field days are scheduled for:

  • May 11th in Jefferson County
  • May 12th in Crook County
  • May 13th in Deschutes County
  • May 18th Harney County
  • May 19th in Lake County
  • May 20th Klamath County
