The amount of American agriculture products purchased by China in the first half of fiscal year 2020 was fairly small.
But as far as this year, USDA economist and trade tracker Dylan Russell said China has climbed to #1 in corn purchases and #2 for un-milled wheat. He added China has, of course, greatly expanded purchases of many U.S. Ag products, and compared to the first half of last year, sales numbers in term of dollar amounts are much higher.

"Wheat is up to $422.9 million, which is an 836% increase."

China has purchased roughly $13.4 billion worth of soybeans so far, which is a 226% increase. China purchases of U.S. sorghum are up 462%, cotton up 166%,  and corn is off the charts at $1.6 billion so far, an increase of 573,000%.
