Oregon's Bounty Farm Stand Guide, created by the state Farm Bureau, is now available. OFB said the guide was established to serve as a tool for consumers to find local family farms and ranches that sell food and foliage directly to the public. The OFB’s Anne Marie Moss said the searchable directory was created to help Farm Bureau members better connect with customers across Oregon and beyond.

"More farms are doing that kind of direct to consumer operation and we want to help connect them with possible purchasers.”

The directory contains 260 family farms and ranches with an option to do searches for specific agriculture products. Moss added most people know where their local farmer's market is, but they might not know how close they are to a farm stand.

"We're trying to help those consumers find farm stands out in the country, farm stands you pick, on farm events. That allows people to connect with their farmer by visiting the farm itself.”
