Walla Walla Valley Wine is rolling out a twelve week summer program, they’re calling the Walla Walla 12. Communications coordinator, Shelby Pyror, said the program, which runs from June 1st through August 31st, is a self-guided wine scavenger hunt intended on helping people discover how to pair a wide variety of wine styles with different life occasions.

"We have over 40 different wine varieties that people can taste and experience while here. This program helps them explore that variety and figure out how they can use the wine they purchase and discover here when they get back at home.”

The Walla Walla 12 centers around a sticker flyer with fourteen different occasions that pair well with wine. The sticker sheet can be found online or at participating wineries.  Pyror, says the best way to join in on the fun is to head On-line for a step by step on how to participate in the program.

"The first step is to request a sticker flyer that will have all of the different occasions to search for to pair wine with and we can mail that out to them.”

Participants can feature their Walla Walla 12 on social media with the hashtag #WallaWalla12 and tagging @WWValleyWine to be entered into three giveaways.
