AWW Announces Second Season Of Virtual Tastings
Last week, the Auction of Washington Wines announced a second season of Virtual Wine Tastings. The four session, hosted by renowned wine expert, and AWW 2020-2021 Honorary Chair, Karen MacNeil, kicks off Wednesday June 30th. During each session, MacNeil will be joined by winemakers and vintners in the Washington wine industry to discuss what makes the industry in the Evergreen state tick. In addition to the in depth conversations, each session will include a guided wine tasting of three vintages, what makes WA state an acclaimed wine region. And, of course, to guide participants through a wine tasting of three vintages.
The four sessions cover an assortment of geographic wine regions and varietals, including:
- June 30 at 4:00 p.m. | Horse Heaven Hills Tasting
- July 14 at 4:00 p.m. | Rhône Style Wines Tasting
- July 21 at 4:00 p.m. | Bordeaux Style Wines Tasting
- August 4 at 4:00 p.m. | Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting
