The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife said another depredation has been attributed to the Lookout Mountain Pack, however this depredation occurred before the recent lethal order by state officials. ODFW crews were called to the Sisley Creek area in Baker County Monday July 26th, to an insured six-month old, 325-ound calf found in a private-land pasture. The injured calf was moved to a corral a few days later and examined by ODFW crews. The Department says it appears the tooth scrapes and other injuries happened three weeks earlier. This marks the 5th depredation attributed to the Lookout Mountain Pack in the past two weeks.

Last week, ODFW crews issued a lethal permit to the livestock owner who has dealt with most of these depredations.
