Irrigated cropland is estimated at $236.00 per acre, up $11.00 per acre from 2020, while non-irrigated cropland rental expense is $63.00 per acre, up $1.00 per acre from last year.

Oregon producers paid $181.00 per acre for all cropland, up $21.00 per acre from last year. Irrigated cropland is estimated at $245.00 per acre, up $25.00 per acre from 2020. Non-irrigated cropland rental expense is $95.00 per acre, down $5.00 per acre from last year.

In Washington, all cropland rental expense is $222.00 per acre for 2021, up $15.00 per acre from the previous year. Irrigated cropland is estimated at $395.00 per acre, up $5.00 per acre from 2020. Non-irrigated cropland rental expense is $75.00 per acre, down $5.00 per acre from last year.

NASS reported that pasture cash rent expense was $13.00 per acre in Idaho for 2021, up $1.00 per acre from 2020. In Oregon, pasture cash rent was $11.00 per acre, down $4.00 per acre from the previous year. Washington producers paid $8.00 per acre for pasture rent, unchanged from last year

Idaho farm real estate value, a measurement of the value of all land and building on farm, averaged $3,350 per acre for 2021, up $240 per acre from 2020 value. Oregon farm real estate measurement averaged $2,790, up $260 per acre from 2020. In Washington, farm real estate value averaged $2,900, up $140 per acre from previous year
