The new Forest Service Chief Randy Moore says there are a number of catastrophic fires burning across the country, and one of the main reasons for the increased fire activity, climate change. What does Moore what to see done to address that change when it comes to fighting wildfires?

"We know that we have to look beyond jurisdictions and boundaries and look at landscape. And to do that we have to bring our community of people together. To collaborate is one of the ways that we have been very successful."

And Moore noted, by looking at this shared stewardship approach that we have in the agency he think that's a "wonderful opportunity" to continue to lead out and making improvements out on the ground.
