According to the latest trade numbers from the USDA, of the 30 Ag commodities tracked, none reported a year over year drop during the first nine months of the fiscal year. USDA Trade Economist, Bart Kenner said when adding up all sales between October 2020 and June of this year.

"We're at $134.6 billion up 28% from 2020."

USDA has constantly forecasted $164 billion in sales by the end of the fiscal year on September 30th.

"We should be on track to meet that forecast."

To reach that, Kenner said the U.S. will need to average about $9.8 billion a month for the rest of the fiscal year, which he said should be easy to do. The next USDA trade forecast will be released August 26st.
