“The Advancing Women Conference is a leadership conference for women in agriculture. So, our main focus is helping women build confidence in all of their leadership skills so that they can progress to really live the life that they want to live.”

While based in Canada, Meck said women from around the world can attend. The conference, she noted, started in 2014 and offers participants a lot of content.

“What you can expect from the conference is hearing a great lineup of speakers, businesswomen, women that run operations and are entrepreneurs in the industry, to specialists in topics like leadership skills, mental and physical health, financial management. It's also a great way to interact with a broad range of women in the ag sector, whether you're a university and college student, farmer, rancher, entrepreneur in ag and food, or corporate agribusiness, it's a great way to meet women all across the sector.”

Conference registration is available now on-line. Click Here to learn more or to register.
