The Oregon Department of Agriculture has launched a survey to gauge needs as well as interests in the food, beverage and agriculture industry. ODA Market access director, Jess Paulson, said the survey targets anyone engaged in not only in production, buy product distribution as well.

"We're looking at nursery, grass seed, and farmers who are engaged in direct consumer or distribution of the product through retail as well as those engaged in value add production.”

Paulson said the survey also is for those who are looking to move to the next tier of marketing. He added an influx of survey data will benefit both the ODA and the Oregon food and agriculture community.

"There's a lot of diversity in Oregon and not all of that diversity is reflected in the current programs we have to promote from ODA, so the results of the survey will help guide us in where we should put our resources in and where we should be seeking new resources."

Paulson said the survey for the ODA”s Agriculture Development and Marketing Program is expected to take less than ten minutes. Click Here to participate in the survey.
