As the United Nations' latest climate change conference, COP26, approaches, among the efforts to be officially announced during the two week event in Glasgow, Scotland, is the USDA's AIM for Climate Initiative. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently discussed the effort during a recent Norman Borlon dialogue panel session. Vilsack said AIM is something that benefit the environment and farming community.

"An effort to try and sustain, encourage and to invest in additional innovation in this space and to make sure that best practices and that information is shared among nations."

With investments channeled into scientific breakthroughs through traditional ag research public and private applied R&D and deployment of such innovation into a practical manner. The United States is a lead nation in this initiative, supported by 30 countries. To learn more, visit the AIM for Climate Website.
