The "traditional" infrastructure, is bound for President Biden's desk, but he said he won't sign it until Congress is back in session. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says the USDA's normal budget has many programs to support climate smart agriculture. But, according to the head of the USDA:

"Build back better contains an historic amount of investment at will absolutely; it'll be like rocket fuel in terms of promoting climate smart agriculture."

Senate Agriculture Committee Chairwoman, Debbie Stabenow says the infrastructure bill has a variety of major investments.

"...around conservation, moving to greener technologies...all kinds of innovation."

Vilsack said the farmer's want to do it, the legislation has incentives to help them do it and so, "I think you're gonna see an acceleration of progress.  This has been, ya know, a little bit slow in getting started but I think the engine is revved up here. And I think it's gonna take off."

"We know what to do," Stabenow added.  "Let's go get it done."
