In an effort to streamline annual events, the National Potato Council recently announced it is combing their Annual Meeting with the Potato D.C. Fly-In.

“We’ve moved our annual meeting to our Washington, what we’re calling, our Washington Summit which is in March," NPC CEO Kam Quarles noted. "And what that allows us to do is to provide some real focused time at Expo exclusively on the things our exhibitors and attendees want to get done in regard to their businesses.”

And that includes, Quarles says things like farm succession planning, recovering from COVID, the inflationary environment, and other important topics, allowing farmers to focus on business priorities broadly for the industry.

“We think that that’s going to very clearly define the Expo experience in January and then also, in March, it will very clearly define this major event for the National Potato Council where you’re doing all of our advocacy work in D.C. as well as all of the leadership work that occurs within our organization.”

The NPC Washington Summit, will be held February 28th through March 3rd. Click Here to learn more about this year's event, or to register.
