After going the virtual route last year, the Spokane Ag Show will open their doors to an in-person event February 1st-3rd at the Spokane Convention Center. Melisa Paul, Show Director says they will have a heavy emphasis on what’s impacting farmers now, and what the industry can expect into the future.

“We are always going to be discussing the latest technology and regulation at our farm forum sessions.  We’re bringing back our amazing weather session with Dr. Art Douglas.  Dr. Randy Fortenberry is also going to be presenting the ever-important economic forecast for agriculture throughout our region.”

Paul added seminars scheduled for Tuesday will focus on cattle, marketing crops and livestock, crop insurance, tax and estate planning and much more. Paul added the goal of the show is to support jobs and investments in the Ag sector across the region, and the best way to do that is to get back to business.

“We need to put one foot in front of the other, and we have to begin by driving that stake in the ground and get back to seeing each other.  So, come, enjoy the show.  We always want to mention because we are Washington state, our COVID protocol is that masks are required, but due to the size of our show proof of vaccine or a negative test is not required.”
