We may be in the middle of winter, but it’s never too early to start thinking about the upcoming growing season, specifically making sure your irrigation is running at the top of its game. That’s where Ceres Imaging can help.

John Bourne said they partner with farmers to build a profitable operation, thanks to proprietary ariel high resolution imagery, sensors and analytics to determine the health and performance of your irrigation system. He noted they have several core crops they are really good at, including apples, cherries, potatoes, and grapes.

“So if you happen to be one of those crops, and you’re trying to improve your uniformity, improve you irrigation performance, things like that, we sign up for a season contract. And that comes with a set of analytics, and that also comes with a certain number of flights, actual imagery captures.  Typical would be around 6-8 flights over the course of that season.”

Bourne noted they’ve been working with a variety of producers in Washington for the past five years. In addition, the crew from Ceres will be at the Washington/Oregon potato conference in the Tri-Cities this week to answer specific questions about your operation.
