"The purpose of this guide is to ensure that anybody that wants to can understand USDA federal programs that can help deliver crucial infrastructure investments. These programs create the foundation for entrepreneurs to success across the country and here in Oregon.”

The guide also features firsthand accounts on starting or expanding businesses from Rural Development customers. Hoffman said the guide will help entrepreneurs with things like access to capital, small business incubators, how to create value added agricultural products, and even high speed internet access.

"Rural entrepreneurs play a crucial role in rural Oregon communities. They provide quality jobs for people living in those communities. They start businesses in industries that expand financial opportunities while delivering products and services that improve our lives.”
