Washington State University is looking for cherry and blueberry growers, as well as consultants, to participate in an advisory group for spotted wing drosophila. There are multiple grants looking at area-wide, chemical, and parasitic control of SWD. The minimum commitment is to attend two annual meetings where information on new research is presented and industry feedback [listening sessions] is solicited. There will be options to participate in research or provide additional 1-on-1 guidance with the research team.
