On Thursday, the USDA designated five Idaho counties as Primary Natural Disaster Areas. Because of this weeks’ designation, Blaine, Butte, Caribou, Custer and Fremont counties are eligible for emergency credit from the FSA. The funds can be used to meet various recovery needs, such as replacing essential items, livestock equipment and operation reorganization.

FSA will review the loans based on the extent of losses, security available and repayment ability. Neighboring counties are also eligible for assistance.

For additional details, or if you have questions, contact your local FSA Office.
